Our New blog...The butterfly initiative

Hi! My name is Julie Fader and I am so pleased to share our latest venture at the Head of the Class “It takes a Village” project.  The Butterfly Initiative is an online support system and blog to
present ideas, supports and fresh approaches for inspiring kids and each other to connect with our unique potential.  Our beautiful children are born with this innate greatness, with tremendous gifts and purpose.

Too often, kids and adults are Pigeon- holed into a skills-based comparison evaluation system that can strip self-esteem and stop the momentum of purpose and meaningful learning.
The Butterfly Initiative is a safe learning space, dedicated to the expansion of purposeful approach and inspiration for parents, caregivers and educators. We are a neuro-science and research-based initiative pulling from the disciplines of growth mindset, mindfulness, social emotional learning and cognitive behavioral science.
